Getting to Know the Albino and Preto Mike Gigliotti Gi

Cotton forms the main body, and that gives a comfortable hand against the neck and wrists, one strength of the Mike Gigliotti black gi. The construction is reinforced, so the areas that usually fail first are better protected, based on the product listing. The drawstring holds everything in place when the pace picks up, based on the original release notes.

A black finish keeps the look tidy at competitions while still feeling distinctive.

Who It Suits

Train in it on Monday and compete in it at the weekend; the Mike Gigliotti black gi is made for that kind of schedule, which makes it a popular choice here. For your first comp, the Mike Gigliotti black gi is one less thing to worry about.

Kids as well as parents who train alike train better in kit that fits, which is why sizing matters. The jacket and pants are designed to work together, so the proportions stays balanced from collar to cuff, so the Mike Gigliotti black gi earns its place.

Grips stress the jacket faster than anything else, so a strong lapel is a sign of a good gi. Tournament players often keep a dedicated comp gi; Albino and Preto Mike Gigliotti gi works in that role.

Keep It Fresh

On the mat, wash it cold and inside out as soon as you can after training, then air dry it out of direct sun. A cool wash is kinder to the weave better than a hot cycle and it helps the fit stay true. Bleach eats into fabric quickly, so it is best avoided.
