The original listing does not publish a full fabric breakdown for this piece, so we will not guess at one; message us and we will check what we can. A black finish keeps the look smart at competitions and hides everyday wear.

Who Should Wear It

Expect a cut that stays tidy even after long guard sessions, which is exactly what a training gi should do. From fundamentals to comp training, the Realtree 3 black gi works for a whole family that trains, which is why it is a popular choice here.

Gi pants often fail first at the knees, which is why reinforcement at the knees is important. The collar, sleeve length and the pants shape how a gi feels in a roll; on this one they are set up for regular training.

Your gi also works as protection for your skin, especially on the knees and elbows. Kids and adults all focus better in gear that fits properly, which is why sizing matters.

Your gi is the one piece of kit you wear every class, so it pays to choose well; the Realtree 3 black gi is an easy choice to justify. Lapel thickness slows down collar chokes, so Albino and Preto Realtree black gi helps your defence.

Younger grapplers should start in the M sizes of the Realtree 3 black gi; adults can use the A sizes, while F, H and L options are explained in the size guide on this page.

If you are between sizes, pick by height, and then check weight in the size guide for the Realtree 3 black gi. Most people order their usual gi size; if you prefer extra room, go one size up, which saves an exchange later.

Keep It Fresh

A mild detergent is plenty; strong detergents wear the fabric out sooner, and your teammates will notice. Mat grime and sweat add up fast, so regular washing protects both you and the people you roll with. On top of that, skip the dryer and fabric softener; they weaken fibres and can fade the colours faster than you would expect.
