Inside the Albino and Preto RS Comp HPRB Gi

Key seams are reinforced which means the knees and seams are better protected, a strength of the RS Comp HPRB black gi. It is listed as IBJJF compliant, but always check the current rules for your division before tournament day. The original listing does not publish a full fabric breakdown for this release, so we do not quote one; get in touch if you need material details before ordering.

We like the black version since it hides wear well after regular washes.

In Training

Leg lockers will appreciate pants that move freely in scrambles in the RS Comp HPRB black gi. Drill in it early in the week and roll hard in it at the weekend; the RS Comp HPRB black gi handles that rhythm well.

Your gi really acts as protection against mat burn, especially on the knees and elbows. Kids and adults alike focus better in gear that fits properly, and that is why we list every size clearly.

Albino and Preto RS Comp HPRB Gi Sizes and Fit Notes

Albino and Preto RS Comp HPRB gi is offered in 22 sizes, namely M00, M0, M1, M2, M3, A00F, A0F, A1F, A2F, A0, A0H, A1, A1H, A1L, A2, A2H, A2L, A3, A3H, A3L, A4 and A5, so the range covers most body types. On the RS Comp HPRB black gi, M sizes cover kids, and the A sizes are for adults with the F, H and L variants listed in the menu; use the size guide on this page for the measurements behind each one.

Most of our customers stick with their normal size; if you prefer extra room, go one size up, and the fit feels right from day one. If you are between sizes, pick by height, and then check weight in the size guide, so the fit feels right on the first wear.

How to Wash It

Store it somewhere dry once it is fully dry, away from direct sunlight, and your teammates will thank you for it. In our experience, do not leave it sitting damp in a gym bag; airing it out straight after class stops bacteria building up. Realistically, during heavy training weeks, give it a quick rinse before the second class then wash it fully later.
