Albino and Preto Supernova Gi: Design and Construction

The pearl weave top balances weight and strength without giving up durability, a highlight of the Supernova black gi. Reinforcement at the stress points is there to handle hard guard passing, according to the product listing. The tapered fit reduces loose fabric, a detail you notice on the mat.

It is easy to like the black colour because it hides wear well through regular sessions. Batch 70 is where the Supernova black gi first appeared so numbers are small.

Who It Suits

It works well for anyone training three or more times a week, and also coaches who want to look sharp in front of a class, so the Supernova black gi earns its place. Pressure passers will appreciate pants that move freely in scrambles, which is just what a busy training week needs.

Collar thickness, sleeve cut and pant fit decide how much grip your partner gets; on this one they are set up for serious practice. Belt rank does not change the gi you choose; choose the one that fits well and suits your training.

Hobbyists benefit just as much, because a well-made gi keeps every session more enjoyable. Team patches can be sewn on for team colours, and Albino and Preto Supernova gi adapts to any team look.

Washing and Care

Mat burn and skin oils add up fast and regular washing keeps things fair for the people you roll with. In short, stubborn smells usually come from sweat left too long in the fabric; washing soon after class is the best fix. Chlorine bleach eats into fabric quickly and leave it out entirely, even on white kit.
