Description
Meet the Shoyoroll Federation shorts, a pair of no gi shorts that combines a confident design and hard-wearing construction. Few brands in grappling create as much buzz as Shoyoroll, so Shoyoroll Federation shorts carries that limited-run appeal into every session. We break down what it is made of, the size range and aftercare further down so you can order with confidence.
Breaking Down the Shoyoroll Federation Shorts
Key seams are reinforced which means the knees and seams are better protected, one highlight of the Federation Fitted black shorts. The original description of the Federation Fitted black shorts notes that it meets IBJJF standards; organisers can update colour and fit rules, so double-check before each event. There is no published fabric breakdown for this piece, so we will not guess at one; message us and we will check what we can.
It is easy to like the black colour because it stays smart after regular sessions. This release is from the Batch 104 tag, which makes it easy to date the piece.
How It Performs
Hard use comes with the territory for no gi gear, and the Federation Fitted black shorts copes with that well, and that is just what regular grapplers want. It is a solid pick for beginners building a first no gi kit with the Federation Fitted black shorts.
Full-length sleeves give more protection against mat burn, while a short-sleeve cut feels cooler in warm rooms. Two-a-day blocks demand gear that dries quickly, so the Federation Fitted black shorts is ready when you are.
Owning a spare lets you rotate between sessions, and the Federation Fitted black shorts fits neatly into that rotation. MMA athletes and no gi players alike appreciate gear that stays put, and the Federation Fitted black shorts works across disciplines.
Travelling for seminars is easier when your gear dries fast, and Shoyoroll Federation shorts rolls up small for travel. Busy academies make hygiene important, so wash the Federation Fitted black shorts after each session.
Shoyoroll Federation Shorts Fit and Sizing
For the Federation Fitted black shorts, sizing spans XS to 3XL across 7 options.
Fabric with stretch gives slightly with use, so a snug fit at first is normal. Not sure which size, message us before ordering and we will help you choose, the same as most brands we stock.
Care Tips
Wash it in cold water with the inside facing out as soon as you can after training, then hang it to dry out of direct sun. Spot clean blood or stains in cold water as soon as you can; hot water sets them into the fabric. Turning it inside out before it goes in the machine protects the outer fabric from rubbing against the drum.
