Description
Our Shoyoroll Absolute King BJJ gi is a BJJ gi aimed at grapplers who want gear that keeps up with a busy class schedule. Shoyoroll releases new designs in batches that rarely return, so Shoyoroll Absolute King BJJ gi is easier to find while we still have it. Scroll down for the build notes, fit advice and a short FAQ.
Shoyoroll Absolute King BJJ Gi: Build and Features
Since the body is cotton, it delivers that classic grippy texture that suits both drilling and live rounds. Pearl weave is one of the most popular jacket weaves in jiu jitsu and on this gi it makes the collar and lapels harder to control. Its listed weight is 450 GSM which helps if you like to know how heavy a gi feels.
The construction is reinforced which means the areas that usually fail first get extra support, a highlight of the Absolute King gi. The embroidery gives texture and depth that print alone cannot match. Per the original product notes, the Absolute King gi meets IBJJF uniform standards but rules do get updated, so check them before tournament day.
It comes from Batch 105 and stock is limited.
Rolling In It
If you are preparing for a first tournament, Shoyoroll Absolute King BJJ gi gives you one less thing to worry about on the day. From kids classes to competition teams, the Absolute King gi suits a whole family that trains.
Competition mornings bring enough nerves, so a gi you trust takes a worry off the list. Kids as well as parents who train all train better in gear that fits properly, which is why sizing matters.
Your gi also works as a protective layer against mat burn, especially during long guard rounds. Belt rank has nothing to do with the gi you choose; pick the one that fits well and suits your training.
Shoyoroll Absolute King BJJ Gi Sizing and Fit
Shoyoroll Absolute King BJJ gi is stocked in 22 sizes: M00, M0, M1, M2, M3, A00F, A0F, A1F, A2F, A0, A0H, A1, A1H, A1L, A2, A2H, A2L, A3, A3H, A3L, A4 and A5, which covers most body types. On the Absolute King gi, M sizes cover kids, while the A sizes are adult fits, including the F, H and L variants listed in the menu; see the size guide on this page for the measurements behind each one.
Taller grapplers with long limbs may prefer the L variants, and broad-shouldered players may suit the H variants. The F sizes suit women, with proportions that fit better through the shoulders and hips.
Looking After It
Never leave it balled up in your bag; airing it out straight after class keeps smells away, so the Absolute King gi lasts longer. Machine wash it in cold water with the inside facing out soon after class, then hang it to dry out of direct sun. Avoid the tumble dryer and bleach; both break down fabric and can change the fit faster than you would expect.
