Description
The Shoyoroll RVCA BJJ gi is a jiu jitsu gi built for players who care about how their kit performs as much as how it looks. Not many brands in grappling get the same attention as Shoyoroll, and Shoyoroll RVCA BJJ gi comes with that collector appeal onto the mats. On this page you will find the build details, sizing advice, care tips and answers to common questions.
Shoyoroll RVCA BJJ Gi: Build and Features
Cotton forms the main body, giving a comfortable hand against the neck and wrists. Pearl weave is a common choice for competition jackets, and here it makes the collar and lapels harder to control. The pants are made from ripstop and the grid weave stops a snag at the knee from running.
Its listed weight is 450 GSM which helps if you are choosing between seasons. Extra stitching around the seams that take the most strain helps it survive hard guard passing, one highlight of the RVCA Streetx gi. The drawstring keeps the pants secure through scrambles.
Per the original product notes, the RVCA Streetx gi meets IBJJF uniform standards, though event rules can change, so check them before tournament day.
Day-to-Day Use
Flow rolling, hard rounds and slow drilling each put different demands on a gi, and the RVCA Streetx gi is cut to handle the lot. Drill in it early in the week and compete in it on Saturday; Shoyoroll RVCA BJJ gi handles that rhythm well.
Kids and adults all focus better in gear that fits properly, and that is why sizing matters. A well-made gi needs to feel firm at the lapel but soft enough to wear for a full class, and the RVCA Streetx gi gets that balance right.
Picking the Right Shoyoroll RVCA BJJ Gi Size
There are 22 sizes for Shoyoroll RVCA BJJ gi, namely M00, M0, M1, M2, M3, A00F, A0F, A1F, A2F, A0, A0H, A1, A1H, A1L, A2, A2H, A2L, A3, A3H, A3L, A4 and A5. For the RVCA Streetx gi, the M sizes are for kids, while the A sizes are adult fits with the letter variants listed in the menu; check the size guide on this page for the measurements behind each one.
When you sit between two sizes, pick by height, and then check weight in the size guide. Message us with your height and weight if the chart leaves you between sizes and we will help you choose.
How to Wash It
Washing it after every session is good hygiene and keeps it fresh with the RVCA Streetx gi especially. A mild detergent does the job; strong products wear the fabric out sooner. Never leave it sitting damp in a gym bag; airing it out as soon as you get home keeps smells away, which really helps the fit stay true.
Shoyoroll RVCA BJJ Gi FAQs
How do I pick a size for the RVCA Streetx gi?
M00 to A5 covers every option (22 sizes). If you already own a gi you like, compare it against the chart to find the closest the RVCA Streetx gi match.
How much does the RVCA Streetx gi shrink?
Cotton gis can tighten slightly with heat, so stick to cold water and air drying so the RVCA Streetx gi stays true to size.
What is the best way to wash the RVCA Streetx gi?
Cold water, turned inside out then air drying is all it needs; heat is the enemy of the colours over time.
